Attribution window, also known as conversion window or lookback window, refers to a timeframe after a user's interaction with a marketing touchpoint. Any conversions that occur within the attribution window will be attributed to that specific campaign or channel, while installs that occur after it is regarded "organic".
For example, you set an attribution window of seven days, and a user clicks an ad on July 1. If the user installs your app before July 8, this conversion will be attributed to the source on July 1. If the user installs your app on July 9 (out of the attribution window), then this conversion will be organically attributed.
The default attribution window in SolarEngine is as follows. You can customize the time range based on your agreements with media sources.
