Compliance Guidelines

Due to the requirement of user privacy protection, SolarEngine has developed the compliance guidelines to assist developers in using the third-party SDK in accordance with relevant laws, policies, regulations and standards.

For developers:

  • Please ensure that you have upgraded the SolarEngine SDK to the latest version. Download via  https://help.solar-engine.com/en/docs/SDK-API.
  • Please inform users about the use of SolarEngine SDK in the privacy policy agreement, including the following information:
    • SDK Name: SolarEngine SDK
    • Functions used: Please specify the functions you used, for example, attribution, ROI analysis, etc.
    • Collected personal information: OAID/IMEI/GAID/MAC/Android ID/IDFV/IDFA, etc.
  • Please make sure to initialize the SDK after obtaining user consent to the privacy policy. Visit SolarEngine privacy policy via https://www.solar-engine.com/privacyPolicyEN.html.


Initialize the SDK

SDK initialization consists of two stages: pre-initialization and formal initialization.

  • Pre-initialization is performed when the application is first launched, and does not collect any personal information or send data to SolarEngine.
  • Formal initialization is performed after the user consents to the privacy policy.
