Test Address

1. Match Type

    • Fuzzy Match

The experiment is triggered once the domain, path and filename extension of the page address accessed by the user match those of the control/test group, ignoring the differences in protocol, "www" prefix, parameters, anchors and trailing slash.

    • Accurate Match

The experiment is triggered only when the page address accessed by the user exactly matches the address of the control/test group.

2. Test URL

    • Users land on a middle page before being redirected to the target page. In this case, enter the control page address.
    • Users land on the control page before being redirected to the target page. In this case, enter the control page address.

3. Whether to preserve parameters and anchors during a redirect

This option is enabled by default.

By preserving parameters, it ensures that users are correctly assigned to the respective experimental groups even after redirection, allowing for accurate result comparison and data analysis.

By retaining anchor points, it enables users to continue accessing their previously viewed page, ensuring a seamless and coherent user experience.

Allocate Traffic

   Same as "Programmatic Test - Allocate Traffic".

   Using a middle page for traffic allocation, you will need to fill in parameters manually.

   Using the control page for traffic allocation, please enter the URL addresses for test groups.

Configure Metrics
