Debug Mode

Debug mode is to facilitate developers in testing the SDK integration and ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection.

Please note that the debug mode is only for use in the development environment. Be sure to disable it before releasing the app in the production environment in case it affects data collection quality and app stability.

1) Enable Debug Mode

2) Add Debug Devices

In order to prevent the debug mode from running in the production environment, you are required to add debug devices before enabling the debug mode.

Entry: Choose Debug Device - Debug Device Management - Add Device (Device ID is the reported "_distinct_id" property value.)  https://help.solar-engine.com/en/docs/Obtain-Distinct-ID

3) Test Data Collection

After adding debug devices, click "Start" and then you can monitor the latest test event data (limit 200 records) being collected.

You can also click "Details" to perform detailed code troubleshooting for failure reasons.

4) Switch Debug Devices

Click on "Choose Debug Device" to switch between debug devices or add new ones.

5) Pause/Resume

During testing, if you wish to pause and make some adjustments, you can click on "Pause" to temporarily stop the system from receiving data. Clicking on "Resume" will switch back to real-time loading mode.
